Horse Drawn Funeral services by Loon Meadow Farm will provide horsedrawn funeral carriage service with a classic, glass enclosed, Horsedrawn Hearse or an open horse drawn caisson . Complimentary horse drawn carriages for pallbearers and / or close family members are also available. We service Connecticut, Massachusetts and Eastern New York with all other areas considered. Our beautifully restored 1880's glass enclosed Hearse will accept a standard sized casket. Drawn by one or two majestic Draft Horses this vehicle will transport the deceased with grace and dignity. Our horse drawn Caisson , which can accommodate oversized caskets with ample room for flowers. For military, veterans, police and other public servants the caisson allows the flag draped casket to be traditionally carried. Although our pace is such that the mourners can walk comfortably behind the vehicle, our Burgundy Victoria and 12 passenger Wagonette will provide excellent complimentary transportation for close family and / or pallbearers, if desired.
